As codes change and become more stringent, the fire alarm inspection process gets to be more detailed and changes to the existing system(s) are required. We at ICD are up to date on these new requirements as they are adopted. We get calls from all levels of involvement. We can take the call from the end user/business owner who needs advice, drawings, or needs to find a reliable fire alarm contractor to the electrician who wants to bid the job and wire rather than give it to another contractor to keep more profits in-house. More often than not, we at ICD receive the call from the alarm contractor that just can't seem to get their plans approved, or overworked, understaffed, or as-built changes are piling up.
Whatever your needs are, ICD is here to step in, and make the fire alarm portion of your needs worry-free. We have an easy checklist of information we need from you, and then we do the rest, from creating drawings, to speaking with your AHJ, to notifying you of the planned inspection dates/times.
In addition to fire alarm submittal packages, we offer all low voltage type systems, on-site consultation and walk-thru appointments, Blueprint to CAD services, Home remodel plan submittals, ie. basement remodels, deck additions, and other CAD related services.
We know the importance of your business name and brand, so that is why our plans if requested will show your business name and logo and not ICD's. Where needed, we will have a signature block for one of our NICET certified engineers to sign and display credentials, but ultimately the plans look as though they came from in-house.
Because we want the best for both our company and yours ICD is a supporter of NICET certifications. We encourage our employees to obtain this certification. 100% of ICD's staff have a NICET certification! We have Multiple NICET Level IV engineers as well as licensed professional engineers on staff.
